Despite missing out of the World Cup, Peru's national soccer team has a new set of kits,
which will be worn for the first time in friendlies against England and Switzerland on May 30th and June 3rd, respectively.
The new Peruvian Home Kit, made by Umbro, remains mostly unchanged in its natural white and red diagonal red sash crossing the front.
A slight modification is the return to the historical style which mirrors the sash for the back part as well, although now including the latest technological improvements to give comfort to athletes.
It has a round neck design with a modern triangular application below, which together with the horizontal textured fabric adds to the retro feel of the shirt, soccer365.com reported.
Meanwhile, the away kit will combine two tones of red. A more intense hue is used for the main part of the shirt, while a darker, almost maroon, tone appears mostly through the sash that remains as the kit’s main design element.
The V-neck style includes a finishing touch thanks to contrasting center red lines, with the “Peru” stylized graphic in the back to match the Umbro logo in gold.
