Visa requirement for Mexican citizens wishing to visit Peru officially revoked

The Executive Branch on Thursday made official a supreme decree to again put into effect the tourist and business visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports of Mexico, after having been suspended by the Peruvian government.

The document was published in the Official Gazette "El Peruano," in accordance with the announcement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.

The text details the exoneration of the requirement of temporary visa in the migratory qualities of tourist and business for entry to Peru, to the nationals of the United Mexican States, holders of valid and ordinary passports.

The maximum period of stay is 183 calendar days, either as a continuous visit or several consecutive visits, during a period of one year.
