TVPeru to air documentary on Peru's expedition to Antarctica

Peruvian state-run TV Peru will broadcast a documentary named “Antarctica: the ends of the earth” based on the last three-month expedition of Peru’s scientific research vessel BIC Humboldt, Antar XXI, to its Machu Picchu base in the white continent.
The documentary will feature the main activities of the expedition Antar XXI: the coexistence during the BIC Humboldt’s journey since its leaving from the Port of Callao in Peru, as well as the daily activities of the 62 scientists and maintenance staff in the vessel and in the Machu Picchu base.

Thus, this great adventure has been recorded to highlight the importance of research work done in various specialties to mark the 25th anniversary of the first Peruvian expedition to Antarctica. 

The prime-time documentary series will air on TVPeru on Sunday 8th April, at 6 pm and consist of four episodes, each one hour long. It will broadcast weekly.
