Hollywood actor Richard Gere seems to have had a good time during his second visit to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu in Cusco.

According to tourist guides who spoke briefly to the Pretty Woman star, Gere said that his visit was a lot of fun and he was happy to be there.

The 61-year-old actor greeted and took pictures with fans during the tour, which included the temple of the sun, the main square, and the acllahuasi or house of the chosen women, among other ruins.

However, bad weather conditions prevented the Golden Globe-winning actor to climb the Huayna Picchu peak, the great mountain behind the citadel.

Sources close to the actor revealed that Gere will visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas tomorrow and would stay in Cusco until next Thursday.
