President Vizcarra says he'll work tirelessly to resolve Peru's problems

16:31 | Lampa (Puno region), Apr. 27.

Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Friday affirmed he will work without rest to resolve the Andean country's most critical problems and will keep on visiting regions to do so.

After the launch of Frost and Cold Spell 'Prevention through Action' Multisectoral Campaign in Lampa (Puno region), the Head of State pointed out his Government will honor the commitments made to the population.

"I travel all over Peru every day. I was in Chiclayo, Lambayeque (region), yesterday until very late, and I've been in Puno since early in the morning of today because the country is facing so many problems that we cannot afford to rest, and I'll work tirelessly," he stated.

Mr. Vizcarra emphasized that people are tired of broken promises and —given the situation— his administration seeks to restore citizens' trust in authorities.

"Fulfilling the commitments, this is what we are here for," he continued.

Likewise, he seeks to promote the development of investment projects while taking care of the environment.

The Peruvian leader insisted people should cast their vote responsibly, as well as elect competent governors and mayors during the upcoming regional and municipal elections so that the new authorities can work hand-in-hand with the Executive Power.
