"My indignation and rejection of the petition issued by terrorist Polay. From Santa Rosa de Alto Yanajanca, once a stronghold of narcoterrorism, I have ordered the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights to organize a forceful response from the State," Mrs. Boluarte expressed via social media.
The top official affirmed that "not even a single Sol (Peruvian currency) from the Public Treasury will be allocated to pay terrorists."
"The money will be used for the health, education, and safety of all Peruvians. Terrorism never again," she emphasized.

IACHR has admitted a lawsuit filed by relatives and people close to Polay Campos, which claimed alleged abuses against his fundamental rights.
On March 22, 2006, terrorist Victor Polay Campos was found guilty of various crimes committed between 1980 and 1990 and sentenced to 35 years in prison.
