No extrajudicial execution or massacre has taken place in Peru, said the

Mrs. Boluarte made these remarks in an interview with El Comercio newspaper in response to what was stated in a report issued by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) on the situation of human rights in Peru.
In its report, the Commission notes that said killings may amount to extrajudicial killings and a massacre.
"We categorically deny extrajudicial executions here, particularly a massacre, and the fact that this has been framed within a stigma based on racial grounds," she stated.
Regarding the document issued by the IACHR, the dignitary underscored that it will be viewed as it is, without further nuances.
Likewise, the President highlighted that the document should state that former President Pedro Castillo perpetrated a coup d'état on December 7, 2022.
"After that announcement, at the national and international level, the false claim that it was Congress or Dina Boluarte who perpetrated the coup d'état against Pedro Castillo, was dispelled," she pointed out.
