President meets with Peruvian community representatives in U.S.

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Tuesday evening met with representatives of the Peruvian community in the United States.

The Head of State reaffirmed Peru's commitment, through the Foreign Affairs Ministry, to the protection of their rights and the continuous improvement of consular services.

This meeting was also attended by Ministers Cesar Landa (Foreign Affairs), Roberto Sanchez (Foreign Trade-Tourism), and the Permanent Representative of Peru to the United Nations, Ambassador Manuel Rodriguez Cuadros.

The consuls general of Peru in New York, Paterson, and Hartford were present in the event, too.


At the General Assembly, Heads of State and Government seek solutions to interrelated global challenges under the theme "A watershed moment: transformative solutions to interlocking challenges."
