President Castillo leads graduation ceremony at Peruvian Naval Academy

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Tuesday morning participated in the graduation of ensigns from the Naval Academy of Peru.

It should be noted that the graduating class of 2022 is made up of 91 cadets, of whom 14 are women.

Afterwards, at 10:30 a.m., the Head of State will lead the closing of the academic year 2021 of the National Merchant Marine Academy.

The ceremony will feature 11 cadets of the Merchant Marine Academy, as well as 24 students of Maritime and Port Management.

The Peruvian leader has always shown his support for the Armed Forces, highlighting the important work they make to preserve the country's sovereignty and defend the national territory.

In this regard, he has stressed the participation of the Peruvian Navy in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, thanks to the assistance it provides to all the affected people, with special emphasis on those most in need.
