The
President of the Republic Pedro Castillo said that he received the High-Level Group of the Organization of American States (OAS) at the Government Palace on Monday so that it knows what is happening in Peru.
In a tweet on his official Twitter account, the Head of state underscored that his administration is focused on working for progress and equality for all.
In addition, the dignitary remarked that some sectors want to endanger the country's democracy and stability using lies to hit the Government.
The OAS mission arrived at the Lima-based Government Palace at 8 a.m. to take part in a meeting with Executive Branch officials.
Mr. Castillo and the other members of the Ministerial Cabinet were waiting for them inside.
