The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE), the Chamber of Commerce of Lima (CCL) and different representatives of the Arab countries attended the creation of the new Peruvian-Arab Chamber of Commerce.
The meeting focused on trade and business relations between Peru and the Arab countries in order to strengthen them even more, as part of the upcoming Third Summit of South American-Arab Countries (ASPA) to be held in Lima in February.
The ceremony took place at the CCL headquarters located in the district of Jesus Maria at 9:00 hours.
This event was attended by Egypt’s Ambassador Hesham Khalil, CCL Vice President Pedro Tomatis, Peruvian-Arab Chamber of Commerce President Miguel Atala, and Executive Director of the Economic Promotion Office at Peru's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elard Escala.
