Ignacio Buse, one of the leading figures in Peruvian tennis, advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 Aix-en-Provence Challenger in France after defeating American Reilly Opelka, who retired due to injury in the second set of the match.

The Peruvian tennis player, who continues to excel on the professional circuit, won the first set after an intense tiebreak, winning 7-6 (4) in 54 minutes of play.
