The Maresias beach, in Sao Paulo (Brazil), was the place for the sport consecration of the Peruvian surfer, Daniella Rosas, who won the WQS 6000 Banco do Brasil Circuit, on her way to the Championship Tour (CT).

Daniella who is only 23 years old, and member of the Athlete Support Program (PAD) of the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD) defeated the local, Sophia Goncalves, in the final with a score of 13.07 over 6.57.

With this result, Rosas added valuable points that propelled her to second place in the regional ranking. Other Peruvians also participated in the surf contest, such as Arena Rodríguez and Catalina Zariquey, who advanced to the quarterfinals; Camila Sanday and Brianna Barthelmess, who reached the round of 16; and Melanie Giunta, Sol Aguirre, and Kalea Gervasi, in the round of 32.

In the men category, Alonso Correa competed up to the quarterfinals, Raúl Ríos up to the round of 32, and Gabriel Ljubicic up to the round of 96.
