—through its Directorate for the Promotion of Business Investments— has organized and participated in various business meetings to showcase its offer in terms of foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, which were integrated into the business portfolio to attract investors from all over the world.
During the first semester, contact was made with 714 potential international investors, who have expressed medium to long-term interest in projects in the sectors represented by PromPeru —among which tourism, cutting-edge technology, textiles, agribusiness, fishing for human consumption, and manufacturing (mining services) stand out.
"The actions contribute to building the country's image as an attractive destination for foreign direct investment. In addition, each action carried out allows us to connect Peruvian entrepreneurs directly with potential investors to build projects, which will reward the country with significant economic income and generate new jobs," said Daniel Cordova Espinoza, head of PromPeru's Directorate for the Promotion of Business Investments.
