The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte participated in the plenary session of the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity (APEP) Leaders' Summit on Friday morning.

The President of the United States Joe Biden and other leaders from the region were also present at this gathering.

"During the summit, the leaders talked about the need to strengthen economic stability and prosperity, as well as about migration," the Peruvian Presidential Office reported via X (formerly known as Twitter).

As is known, the APEP is made up of the United States, Barbados, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Uruguay. Together, they account for 31.9% of global GDP.
