Peruvian President meets with Judiciary Chair

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Monday morning met with Judiciary Chair Elvia Barrios at the Judicial Branch's headquarters in Lima.

Also attending were Justice and Human Rights Minister Anibal Torres, Deputy Justice Minister Gilmar Andia, as well as Supreme Judges Javier Arevalo and Hector Lama.

According to the Judicial Branch, the over one hour meeting addressed issues related to strengthening the justice system.

At the end of the gathering, the Peruvian leader left without making any statement.
