Peruvian President attends Amazon Cooperation Treaty top officials' meeting

La President of the Republic Dina Boluarte currently participates in the Fourth Meeting of Heads of State and Government of Countries Signatory to the Amazon Cooperation Treaty (ACT), which takes place in Brazil.

On this occasion, the Peruvian Head of State is accompanied by Ministers Ana Cecilia Gervasi (Foreign Affairs) and Albina Ruiz (Environment).

The meeting takes place at the Plenary Hall of the Convention Center in Belem do Para.

Following her participation in this meeting, at 9:00 a.m. (Brazilian time), Peru's top official will hold a bilateral meeting with COP28 President, United Arab Emirates Industry and Advanced Technology Minister, Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.

At 11:00 a.m. (local time), President Boluarte will be present at the General Debate of Heads of State and Government of Amazon Cooperation Treaty (ACT) Signatory Countries.

At 1:25 p.m. (local time), Peru's top dignitary will participate in the adoption of the Belem Declaration by the nations participating in this summit.

Once the international event is over, the Head of State will hold a bilateral meeting with Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment Affairs, Luhut B. Pandjaitan.
