Once again, Peru's green coffee is allowed to enter Brazil given that the recipient nation's Agriculture, Livestock and Supply Ministry (MAPA) revoked Peruvian coffee-grain exports suspension, Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Magali Silva announced.

"This is good news for Peru, since it allows us to resume relations with roasted coffee processing-enterprises based in Brazil, where our coffee has gained wide acceptance thanks to its aroma and quality," she stressed.

The measure imposed by Brazil on May 30th, 2015 was lifted, since there "was not any technical-scientific justification" to support the demand for a work plan aimed at validating the entry of Peruvian grains into South America's largest country.
