On May 1, a group of 50 Peruvian fashion and home decor companies will exhibit their products at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City, at the “Perú Moda Deco Norteamérica 2025” event, organized by the Peruvian Export and Tourism Promotion Commission (Promperu).
This edition seeks to connect Peruvian companies in the textile and home decor sectors with international buyers.
With a clear focus on business, the event aims to promote the international reach of small and medium-sized companies in the textile and home decor industries in one of the most competitive markets in the world.
This initiative responds to Promperu's strategy of coordinating opportunities for the sector through its Commercial Offices (OCEX), promoting an offering that stands out for its quality, innovation, and commitment to sustainability.
Fifty Peruvian companies from the cotton, baby and children's clothing, alpaca clothing, and home decor categories will participate, holding business meetings with 118 buyers from the United States, Canada, and Mexico, from fashion chains, specialty stores, and retail platforms, including Brooks Brothers, Alexander Wang, Victoria's Secret, and Revolve.
Furthermore, 80% of the exhibitors are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from various regions of the country, such as Arequipa, Junín, and Cusco.
The event will include a specialized seminar on sustainability aimed at New York fashion students, where Peruvian export companies will share their best environmental and corporate social responsibility practices, in line with global trends.

With this initiative, Promperu strengthens its role as a strategic articulator of commercial connection spaces, promoting market diversification and reinforcing Peru's presence in the United States, the main destination for textile and apparel exports. In 2024, this market accounted for 50.1% of the sector's total exports, exceeding $803 million.
In a global context of supply chain transformation, Peru is positioning itself as a strategic alternative for textile sourcing, supported by the growing recognition of the "Made in Peru" seal, associated with high-quality and sustainable products with personalized responsiveness.
Therefore, Promperu will continue to strengthen the Peruvian industry's presence internationally with Peru Moda Deco exhibitions in São Paulo, Santiago de Chile, Milan, and Paris.
Participation in renowned trade shows such as Première Vision in Paris and Fashion World Tokyo will also be organized.
Peru Moda Deco North America 2025 is part of the institutional strategy of Promperu and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) to consolidate the country as a reliable and competitive partner in global value chains.
