For the first time in history, a Peruvian Olympic delegation will be composed of 14 track and field representatives.
Ines Melchor, Gladys Tejeda, Jovana de la Cruz, Raul Pacheco, Cristian Pacheco, Raul Machacuay, David Torrence (runners), Jessica Hancco, Kimberly Garcia, Pavel Chihuan, Paolo Yurivilca, Luis Henry Campos, Luis Ostos (walkers) and Arturo Chavez (jumper) will participate in Rio 2016.
The delegation is also made up of Renzo Leon, Camila Valle (rowing), Paloma Schmidt, Stefano Peschiera (sailing), Juan Postigos (judo), Julissa Diez Canseco (taekwondo), Ariana Orrego (artistic gymnastics), Alonso Valdez (equestrian jumping), Andrea Cedro, Nicholas Magana (swimming), Hernan Viera, Fiorella Cueva (weightlifting), Yanet Sovero (wrestling), Francisco Boza and Marko Carrillo (shooting).
The Olympics will take place on August 5th-21st.
