Peru's Culture Minister Salvador del Solar Labarthe has just confirmed his resignation from the Executive Branch.
The Peruvian actor, filmmaker, and lawyer had served as the portfolio's head since December last year.
Del Solar's post does not include the reasons of his resignation.
Nevertheless, he thanked President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski for the opportunity he gave him to serve the country.
The 47-year-old senior official
was sworn in on December 5, 2016, along with current Defense Minister Jorge Nieto.
