Peru's President: We promoted agenda of changes in first 100 days in office

19:20 | Lima, Nov. 5.

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Friday noted that, over the course of his first 100 days in office, an agenda of changes has been promoted for the sake of Peru, which covers —among other things— the Second Agrarian Reform, the renegotiation and massive use of natural gas, and the tax reform.

He also mentioned the progress made in the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in which 60% of the target population has received the two doses.

The Head of State also highlighted the payment of the family support grant Yanapay (Help) aimed at 13.5 million Peruvians.

Likewise, Mr. Castillo stressed the payment of a pension to affiliates who have made contributions for 10-15 years, as well as this year's GDP growth goal of 10%.

"This is the agenda that Peruvians are interested in and the one we must discuss and get off the ground," the President wrote on his official Twitter account.

Moreover, the Peruvian leader confirmed that he will travel to Ayacucho region on Wednesday to inform the nation on the progress made during this first stage of his term, as well as the goals to be met in the coming months and years.
