The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo concluded the dialogue sessions with leaders of political parties represented in Congress and stated that, during the meetings, an important responsibility was assumed to secure a decent life for all citizens.

In a message posted on Twitter, Mr. Castillo said that forces were joined to make the great challenges of the country possible.

"Peruvian people, tonight we have concluded a fruitful dialogue session with leaders of political parties in Congress," the Head of State tweeted on Monday night.

"Together we have assumed a historical responsibility: to join forces so as to build a homeland capable of guaranteeing a decent life for all," the tweet added.

Precisely last night President Castillo concluded a round of dialogue with leaders of eight political parties represented in Congress to build bridges and promote consensus in favor of the country's development.

The meetings, which began on Friday, addressed challenges in the fight against the pandemic, economic reactivation, and the strengthening of institutions.
