Peru's President speaks at United Nations General Assembly

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo delivered an address at the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, the United States, on Tuesday afternoon.

At this event, Heads of State and Government seek solutions to interrelated global challenges under the theme "A watershed moment: transformative solutions to interlocking challenges."

Afterwards, Peru's top official will meet with Foreign Affairs Minister of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Mohamed Salem Uld Salek.

In addition, he will hold a meeting with the Peruvian community at the headquarters of the Permanent Representation of Peru to the UN.
