Peru's President participates in inauguration of two PIAS in Loreto

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Tuesday morning participated in a ceremony marking the inauguration of two Itinerant Social Action Platforms (PIAS) in the Amazon region of Loreto.

The platforms were named PIAS Rio Ucayali I and PIAS Rio Ucayali II, the Presidential Office reported via social media.

Both PIAS will make it possible to bring Peruvian State services closer to more citizens residing in the Amazonian region.


The ceremony took place at the Navy Industrial Services (SIMA) shipyard in the city of Iquitos, located in Loreto region.
