President Martin Vizcarra on Thursday took part in the ceremony marking the 79th anniversary of Captain Jose Quiñones' immolation and the Peruvian Air Force Day.
The Head of State was joined by Prime Minister Pedro Cateriano, as well as Ministers Walter Martos (Defense) and Jorge Montoya (Interior).
The event took place at Las Palmas Air Base located in Lima's Santiago de Surco district.
