Peru's President: More families get their grandparents, parents vaccinated

The President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti on Tuesday affirmed that more Peruvian families have their grandparents and parents vaccinated against COVID-19, with the doses that continue to arrive in Peru.

"It is a great satisfaction to see that more families have their grandparents and parents vaccinated. This process is encouraging, and we continue working," he expressed.

Remarks were made before leaving for Ancash region to deliver a new batch of Pfizer vaccines and continue with the immunization of older adults.

In that jurisdiction, the top official will hold a work meeting with the regional governor and mayors.

"We continue to work nationwide," he emphasized.
