The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Tuesday met with nine Congress members from the United States at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.

The meeting addressed various issues such as the strengthening of trade, the joint fight against organized crime, and the promotion of foreign investment in Peru.

In this regard, the Head of State highlighted the 15 years of entry into force of the Peru-United States Free Trade Agreement, which made it possible to stimulate Peru's macro-economy and create more high-quality jobs for thousands of Peruvian families.

Moreover, the dignitary stressed Peru's solid macroeconomic foundations and legal certainty, which provide a good investment climate.

"Peru is back; this is a country of investment opportunities, with low inflation, and with sound monetary stability," she underlined.
