Peru's President meets with U.S. businesspeople

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Thursday held a meeting with executives from various financial and commercial entities —as part of her visit to the United States.

The gathering took place at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) headquarters in Washington, D.C.

The aforementioned businesspeople are part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Within this framework, the Peruvian Head of State spoke with representatives of Citibank, Pepsi, Amazon, and Walmart, among others.

In addition to President Dina Boluarte, Ministers Ana Cecilia Gervasi (Foreign Affairs) and Alex Contreras (Economy and Finance) were present at this event, representing the Peruvian side.

Presidential meeting

On the other hand, Peru's top official met with her counterpart of Costa Rica, Rodrigo Chaves, at the IDB headquarters.

The president's agenda today also includes a meeting with Uruguayan peer, Luis Lacalle.
