Peru's President installs working group to support COVID-19 vaccination process

Peruvian President Francisco Sagasti has led the installation of the Multisectoral Working Group that will coordinate and articulate the efforts aimed at implementing the vaccination for the prevention of COVID-19 in the country.

The information was confirmed via Twitter by the Presidency of the Republic.

The installation of said group took place in the presence of Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez, who presides over it, as well as Ministers Jose Elice (Interior) and Pilar Mazzetti (Health).

They were joined by Deputy Minister for Defense Policies Manuel Mesones and Social Health Insurance System (EsSalud) Executive-President Fiorella Molinelli.

Also present were Working Group's Technical Secretary Carlos Neuhaus, as well as the representatives of the Ministries of Transport and Communications, Economy and Finance, Education, and the National Assembly of Regional Governments (ANGR).
