The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Friday affirmed that her administration has been working in proper and transparent manner, using correctly the resources obtained from taxes paid by all Peruvians so as to improve the population's quality of life.

Mrs. Boluarte participated in a meeting with girls, boys, and adolescents —members of the Women and Vulnerable Populations Ministry Advisory Council.

"We are not stealing from Peru; we are working in proper and transparent manner; you can rest assured that, once our Government's term in office has come to an end, you won't see any news of another president going to jail for having stolen from Peru; that won't happen to Dina Boluarte, nor to any minister, because ministers work honestly," she expressed.

The top official specified that the taxes collected from all Peruvians are transferred to the Economy and Finance Ministry with the purpose of allocating them for the construction of hospitals, schools, roads, bridges, and for supporting agriculture, among other sectors.

"Governing is a complex task, but when it is done with love, then everything flows swiftly; when one does it with passion, there is no fatigue, one doesn't feel hungry; so, we will continue working," she added.

Afterwards, the Head of State said she hopes to meet with this group of children and adolescents at the Government Palace, as well as to visit museums and the Education Ministry, so that they can witness how public administration works.

Lastly, she wished them a Happy Children's Day and expressed confidence that, later on, this group of minors can fulfill their dreams, as well as join the public and private administration systems.

This event was held at the National Sports Village (Videna) in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
