This statement was made during the 7th Regional State Council (CER), held in the city of Ica, with the participation of ministers and governors from across the country.
"I want to reaffirm, dear governors, before you, who are the representatives of regions, that our government will continue to bet on dialogue, respect, and consensus as a strategic axis to foster sustainable development and social inclusion," Mrs. Boluarte expressed.
Likewise, the top official urged regional authorities to continue working diligently thinking about the common good, as they have a government "that does not stand idly by in the face of national problems."
"We do not make promises and then look the other way; we put in the effort; therefore, we will continue to firmly confront every problem in which we can provide a solution, hand in hand with you in that coordinated work," she added.
The Head of State also indicated that holding the VII Regional State Council in the city of Ica demonstrates, furthermore, the government's commitment to decentralization and coordinated work, with the purpose of achieving true development and closing gaps.
Similarly, the unity demonstrated between the Executive Power and regions consolidated these State Councils as multilevel spaces where agreements "of great impact in favor of our brothers" were reached.
She even specified that this governance mechanism for reaching agreements is recognized by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
