The President of the Republic of Peru, Keiko Fujimori, held a meeting with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York.

The Peruvian Head of State traveled to the United States to participate in the activities of the High-Level Week of the 81st UN General Assembly session.

The official agenda runs through September 24.

It includes bilateral meetings with heads of State and representatives of international organizations, activities aimed at promoting investment, and discussions on transnational organized crime, sustainability, and international cooperation.

During the top official's absence, the First Vice President of the Republic is in charge of the Presidential Office.
