The President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti on Tuesday said that fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, providing health, and improving living conditions, are tasks that concern everyone when working together.
Speaking from La Libertad region, where he paid a working visit, Mr. Sagasti emphasized that the Executive Branch is strengthening the project execution capacity of regional governments.
Such effort, he stressed, seeks to avoid technical errors and ensure that contracts are fair, balanced, and equitable.
While in La Libertad, he visited Cesar Vallejo Hospital in Santiago de Chuco, which is a joint effort between the regional government and private companies.
He said the health facility is equipped to provide high quality services to the population, noting that this is an example of what can be done when doing the job right.
Additionally, he affirmed that the Government is actively looking for a way to reactivate the Chavimochic project without corruption.
