Within this framework, the top official stated that his government is confronting crime with the weapons it has found, and that his administration is putting in considerable effort, noting that the latter is crucial to promoting change.
In this regard, the President took the opportunity to point out that there are issues that must be set on the right track.
He added that the next government has the responsibility to continue the country's vision.
"It is not the vision of a single government. Governments come and go, the State remains, and as a State we must develop and give importance to planning and to developing what is ours with a projection outward," Jeri expressed.
"That must be the objective of our country, and today we are here, precisely along that line, to support the music industry, and we will continue to do so," he added.
The Head of State highlighted the importance of music as an element that brings people together.
Likewise, the President underscored the country's diverse expressions in this artistic field, which connect regions, create jobs, and foster creativity, describing it as "a real development opportunity for thousands of families."
The top official noted that the inauguration of this first congress is crucial, as it provides a space where the State, the private sector, academia, and arts organizations can engage in dialogue and find concrete solutions to professionalize and strengthen the music industry.
"Here, proposals, experiences, and pathways for protecting rights will be gathered, precisely to improve training and ensure that every musician can work under dignified conditions, with real opportunities for growth and international projection," he added.
