Prime Minister Mirtha Vasquez on Friday highlighted how important it is for the Government to engage in dialogue with people within their own territories in order to strengthen the decentralization process.
The high-ranking official affirmed that the Government's goal is to hold fruitful talks which will contribute to the closing of gaps in accessing essential services such as water, basic sanitation, and electricity.
Additionally, said dialogue is intended to close gaps in health service, anemia reduction, rural infrastructure, internet access, productive development, and economic revival, in order to generate income and employment for citizens.
In this regard, the Cabinet chief highlighted that the Government has held three GORE-Executive meetings, which were carried out in the cities of Lima, Iquitos, and most recently in Trujillo, as well as three Muni-Executive meetings.
"We know there are very important works in Moquegua that have reported physical progress and whose execution is pending, and we want to carry on the projects, especially those related to agriculture, education, health, information technologies, and communication," Vasquez said in her speech.
On the other hand, she ensured access to three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as the improvement of health services at all levels in the midst of the third wave of coronavirus infections that our country is currently facing.
