Peruvian Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez on Tuesday affirmed that the Government will work until the last day of its term to leave things in order for the next administration.

In an interview with RPP radio and TV station, she affirmed that the transfer of power will be a transparent process, including information for new authorities and citizens.

Thus, the outgoing administration will provide information on the situation at the time it took over, as well as details on what it did and the situation at the end of its term.

The Cabinet chief affirmed that, in accordance with the rules adopted by the Comptroller's Office, the administrative transfer will be made through a platform provided by said institution and will involve an evaluation of the outgoing administration, projects, and relevant information.

In addition, every Monday and Friday at a press conference, two ministers will report on the situation of their sectors, in order to ensure a transparent process.

Vaccination

Bermudez highlighted the COVID-19 vaccination teams' commitment and emphasized that the immunization process is the result of joint efforts by the Executive Branch, regional and local governments, and experts.

She noted that the system has been organized in such a way that vaccination cannot stop, setting up a schedule until the end of the year, so that the new authorities can continue with the changes they consider necessary.

In this sense, the Prime Minister indicated that a large batch of vaccines is expected to arrive in the second half of July.
