After conducting a first round of dialogue with parliamentary groups, Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen on Tuesday affirmed that economic recovery and citizen security, with concrete measures, will be the pillars of the message he will deliver before Parliament to seek the vote of confidence.

These central issues of the Government policy, he said, were explained to the Renovacion Popular (Popular Renewal) parliamentary group, with which he held a "sincere, open, and transparent" dialogue, in which he was able to hear its concerns over immediate effects across the economic recovery.

They also discussed the need to work on a policy on prisons, on how to alleviate overcrowding at hospitals, the presence of Peru in the Inter-American System of Human Rights, among others.

Adrianzen reported that 11 out of the 13 parliamentary groups agreed to participate in the dialogue; so, he will have the opportunity to explain the guidelines that the Cabinet under his charge will follow.

"We want to get closer to all political parties, to have the opportunity to listen to one another; we want to convey the message that the Cabinet has a democratic spirit, is willing to dialogue, and is determined to promote economic reactivation and citizen security for good," he remarked.

In this regard, the Cabinet chief reiterated his support for Interior Minister Victor Torres, and all Cabinet members, who are under permanent evaluation.

"Our administration is based on results. We are in the process of implementing the Safe Peru Plan and, as we have said repeatedly, we barely have a month, let it mature, let it deliver results, trust that those results will come soon," he noted.

On the other hand, when asked about the preliminary investigation by the Public Ministry against President Dina Boluarte, the Prime Minister claimed that the Head of State has provided determined support to these investigations.
