Peruvian Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen on Wednesday affirmed that the Government will strengthen democratic governability through permanent dialogue, noting that he will promote the fight against corruption, through a clean hand government administration.

"We are determined to mark a turning point; in this regard, I announce our firm determination of not allowing or tolerating any irregular action at the Executive Branch," he said.

At a Congress plenary session, the Prime Minister offered a clean hand administration, a transparent government, where professionalism and meritocracy can be a precept and a rule and, at the same time, an insurmountable obstacle to tackle corruption and inefficiency.

Dialogue and consensus

He also indicated that, on the basis of the progress made, this government administration seeks to strengthen democratic governability, restore the levels of confidence, and focus the Government's action on the country's major goals.

"Through permanent, frank, and open dialogue, I will dedicate myself to join efforts and wills so that, at this decisive moment, our country can mobilize all its human, material, and productive capacities, in favor of a rapid economic recovery for the benefit of our population," the Cabinet chief said.

According to Adrianzen, this demands openness, dialogue, search of consensus, and tolerance for critical voices.

"This will be a government administration of open doors to all sectors, irrespective of ideological, political, or religious positions. In this sense, we contemplate a relationship of respect and cooperation with the Congress of the Republic," he pointed out.

Moreover, the Prime Minister asserted that the relationship with Parliament will be sustained by major State policies and the need to ensure compliance with the constitutional order, rule of law, and social peace.

The Cabinet chief remarked that he will meet with regional governors, mayors, business associations, workers' unions, and religious communities.
