New Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen on Saturday affirmed that the Cabinet's presentation at a Congress plenary session, to support the Government General Policy, will take place on the date closest to April 6.

According to the Political Constitution's Article 130, the presentation by the Ministerial Cabinet shall take place within 30 days after having taken up duties.

"It will be the closest to April 6. I want to have a broader knowledge of the sector and of what the Executive Branch is; similarly, I want to consolidate these two ideas of economic reactivation and citizen security," he told RPP Noticias.

The high-ranking official specified that he also intends to report on the first results of this administration, over the first 30 days of work.

During the interview, the Cabinet chief pointed out that his administration is made up of two main pillars: economic reactivation and citizen security —aspects that have a great impact on the population.

In this regard, Prime Minister Adrianzen explained that, in the first case, March figures are encouraging; thus; there is an expectation of 2.3% GDP growth.

Regarding citizen security, he said "crime is a very complex problem; so, it has to be faced in different manners."

"Next week, I will travel to Pataz (La Libertad region) to coordinate the operations by the Army and the Peruvian National Police in said area affected by insecurity," he added.

It must be noted that the other 18 Cabinet members were reconfirmed in their posts.
