Peru's PM oversees COVID-19 vaccination at nursing home

Peruvian Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez on Tuesday supervised the vaccination of elder citizens against COVID-19 at CEDIF Rosa de Lima nursing home, which belongs to the State-run National Family Welfare Program (Inabif).

The Cabinet chief was joined by Ministers Oscar Ugarte (Health) and Silvia Loli (Women and Vulnerable Populations) on this occasion.

At the site, 58 older adults in vulnerable situations were vaccinated, who had been provided shelter by the Ministry of Women through Inabif.

The event was organized by the Directorate of Integrated Health Networks (Diris) in Southern Lima, which guaranteed strict compliance with all established biosafety protocols.
