Within the framework of the National Vaccination Campaign against COVID-19, the
Ministry of Health (Minsa) is reinforcing the message that all vaccines administered in the country rely on due scientific verification, which is widely recognized.
These messages are intended to ensure the fulfillment of the vaccination process. Besides, communicational strategies are being built up to counteract fake information about the vaccines available in the country.
This remarkable communicational initiative has been joined by renowned artistic figures.
Actress Mayella Lloclla noted that the vaccine is very important for our health and called on citizens to get inoculated against COVID-19.
"Get vaccinated in complete safety and for your safety," she stated.
To date, more than 14 million doses have been applied nationwide, and the next age group eligible for vaccination include those aged 38 and above, which will protect them and avoid the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Minsa continues to make significant progress with vaccination efforts in all the regions, by building on immunization strategies like the
Vaccinathon, which is intended to encourage people to get vaccinated, receive the two doses, and thus protect the population against COVID-19.
Additionally, this vaccination strategy seeks to speed up and guarantee the immunization process of the population.
