on Friday commented that negotiations with various pharmaceutical companies to acquire new COVID-19 vaccine batches are progressing in a sustained manner.
"The signing of the contract with Johnson & Johnson will be completed shortly. At the beginning of negotiations, they had offered 5 million vaccines, which would arrive in the country during the second half of this year," he told RPP TV and radio station.
