Peruvian soccer players Paolo Guerrero and Miguel Trauco have become two of Flamengo's most important players.

The striker and the recently-signed midfielder are admired and praised by supporters, members of the local "torcida."

It must be noted the 32-year-old forward has made a total of 24 goals, while defending the 'Mengao' since 2015.

He managed to score four times at the recently-inaugurated Carioca tournament, whereas the midfielder has scored on one occasion.

As an example, Guerrero made two goals at last Saturday's Flamengo-Nova Iguacu match (4-0) held at Janio Moraes Stadium.

Thanks to this triumph, Flamengo holds the first spot with 9 points at Campeonato Carioca's Group B.
