An intense agenda will be fulfilled by Peruvian Economy and Finance Minister Oscar Graham, within the framework of his participation in the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG), which are taking place in Washington D.C., the United States.

The Peruvian official will hold meetings and participate in different forums on April 21 and 22.

One of the most important events in which he will participate is the meeting to be held along with Pacific Alliance Finance ministers. At this event, the economic challenges currently facing the bloc will be evaluated.

Similarly, the economist will hold meetings with various personalities from the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund to whom he will provide information on the economic strengths and challenges currently faced by the South American country, with a view to promoting projects that require support from multilateral banking.

Similarly, he has scheduled meetings with representatives of risk rating agencies Standard & Poor's, Moody's, and Fitch Ratings.

Minister Graham will also be part of the panel on fiscal programs and challenges in the region, organized by the Inter-American Development Bank, and in which ministers of Guatemala, Chile, and Ecuador will participate.

It should be noted that the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) are events that bring together central bank authorities, finance and development ministers, private sector executives, as well as representatives of civil society organizations, to discuss issues of concern around the world, such as the global economic outlook, poverty, economic development, and the effectiveness of financial aid.
