Peru's FA Min meets with UAE International Cooperation Minister

Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi met with the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Reem Ebrahim Al Hashimy, on Monday during her recent trip to Brazil.

At the meeting, both authorities agreed on the importance of boosting bilateral ties, especially in economic-commercial, investment, and environmental fields.

Precisely, the Peruvian State Minister traveled to Brazil, together with Prime Minister Alberto Otarola, as part of the Peruvian delegation that participated in the inauguration of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, on behalf of the Constitutional President of the Republic Dina Boluarte.

During the ceremony, held on Sunday, January 1, the Peruvian authorities conveyed President Dina Boluarte's congratulatory message to Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on his inauguration.

In addition, they reaffirmed their intention to strengthen the strategic partner relationship between Brazil and Peru, as part of the South American integration process.
