Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi has begun her visit to Brussels (Belgium) on Monday, as part of a working trip to continue strengthening Peru's position in the international arena.
In addition, the two authorities highlighted the excellent state of the bilateral relationship.
Ministers Gervasi and van Klaveren are in the capital of Belgium to participate in the third
EU-CELAC Summit of Heads of State and Government.
Said summit will bring European Union (EU) leaders and leaders from the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) together after 8 years and will take place on July 17 and 18.
"Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi begins her visit to Brussels. She met with Chilean Foreign Affairs Minister Alberto van Klaveren on the sidelines of the third CELAC-EU Summit; they both highlighted the excellent state of the bilateral relationship and addressed important issues of common interest," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted on Twitter.
Gervasi's working trip also includes a visit to the city of Geneva (Switzerland), where she will deposit the instrument of acceptance of the "Protocol Amending the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization, Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies," among other activities.
