Peruvian exports amounted to US$65.835 billion last year, up US$2.684 million compared to 2021, the
Central Reserve Bank (BCR) has reported.
Thus, shipments abroad grew 4.3% last year compared to 2021, explained by higher average prices of exported products and higher volumes shipped abroad.
In monthly terms, exports totaled US$6.053 billion in December 2022, down 5.1% from December 2021.
This was mainly due to lower prices of minerals (copper and zinc) and a drop in volumes of traditional products, except copper, which offset higher average prices of non-traditional products.
