Continuing its historic training voyage to circumnavigate the world, the sailing training ship
B.A.P. Union arrived at the Port of Shanghai, in China, thus completing the fifth landing point of the momentous journey carried out by Peruvian Naval School cadets.
In this city, the Peruvian crew will conduct a varied program of cultural, protocol, and operational activities from September 18 to 22.
The day began with a business conference held by ship's commander, Naval Captain Jose Luis Arce Corzo.
Likewise, the BAP Union holds an open-door activity to welcome on board locals and members of the Peruvian community in China, who had the opportunity to reconnect with Peru's millenary culture and export products.
The ship's stay in Shanghai will also give rise to the organization of commercial and cultural events to promote Peru in the Asian Giant.
These events include a fashion show to showcase alpaca-wool products and a seminar on Peruvian food, in which both Peruvian and Chinese chefs will participate.
