on Thursday determined, through a public draw, the placement of 38 political organizations on the ballot to be used in the 2026 General Elections, scheduled for April 12.
The event was held at the ONPE headquarters in Lima.
Public notary Ruth Alessandra Ramos Rivas certified the procedure.
Representing ONPE were Electoral Advisory Deputy Manager Roberto Javier de la Torre Seminario, Electoral Management Manager Jose Edilberto Samame Blas, and Electoral Production Deputy Manager Juan Antonio Phang Sanchez.
Party representatives from the political organizations attended as well.
Following the draw, the order established for the first-round ballot was as follows:
1. Alianza Electoral Venceremos (We Will Overcome Electoral Alliance)
2. Partido Patriótico del Perú (Patriotic Party of Peru)
3. Partido Cívico Obras (Civic Works Party)
4. Frente Popular Agrícola FIA del Perú Agricultural People’s Front of Peru (FIA)
5. Partido Demócrata Verde (Green Democratic Party)
6. Partido del Buen Gobierno (Good Governance Party)
7. Partido Político Perú Acción (Peru Action Political Party)
8. Partido Político PRIN (PRIN Political Party)

The procedure was carried out in accordance with the Organic Law of Elections and Chief Resolution No. 000007-2026-JN/ONPE, which governs the draw determining the order of political organizations on the ballot.
Once the order was defined, ONPE can proceed with printing the ballots.
A draw was also conducted for a possible presidential runoff.
It was determined that Number 1 will appear on the ballot's left side and will correspond to the political organization that receives the highest number of votes in the first round.
Meanwhile, Number 2 will be placed on the right side and assigned to the political organization that obtains the second-highest vote total.
